Hi there!

I’m Jessy, owner and operator of Pavement Pros.

The company was founded in 2009 when I was a student in college, thanks to a Summer Company Program which was offered to students who were interested in being self-employed. I named it “Driveway Doctor,” and it was the top revenue generator out of the 30 student businesses chosen for the program in the Quinte area. Little did I know that Driveway Doctor would allow me to complete 7 years of post-secondary education debt free. I currently hold a diploma as a Social Service Worker from Loyalist College and have a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Carleton University. Driveway Doctor was eventually re-branded to Pavement Pros as a means of serving a larger demographic in a more specialized field. When I finished school I moved back to Belleville and Pavement Pros was growing faster than ever. So much so that I turned it into my full-time career, and haven’t looked back since. I’ve since bought a home in Plainfield and own a company shop, which allows me to continue serving Southeastern Ontario.

A Few Facts:

• I have a daughter named Violet, and plan on having more children in the future.

• I worked for the NDP during my years in university over the Fall and Winter, while continuing to grow Pavement Pros during the Spring and Summer.

• I grew up in Alberta and moved to Ontario in my late teen years. I used to spend my summers erecting grain bins on the prairies.

• I played competitive hockey for 16 years

• I have a sister who is also self employed
